New Year’s Resolutions
A new year has begun. It’s a fresh start to some things. For the year 2011, I have a few things I’d like to accomplish. They include:
- Stop drinking Mountain Dew – This is a tough one for me, but I’m determined. Being more healthy overall is a more generic resolution.
- Reduce debt and clear credit card balances – This is definitely possible with enough self discipline.
- Read more books – Any kind of books. Manuals, fiction, non-fiction… Anything.
- Write more in my blog – I want to make this a more active site.
- Get certified in Mac OS X Server – A very realistic goal that would be very beneficial.
- Take more photos – I want to start doing more freelance photography; this is a good way to start.
- Take a vacation – It’s been a very long time, but I think it’s well deserved.
- Be more organized – Keep things clean. I need to find ways to be neat.
- Ride my bike more – I would really like to ride to and from work 3 times a week. That’s about 25 miles each day, 75 per week. Plus any additional recreational riding.
- Promote RocRider.com – Provide a place for other bike riders around the area to communicate and keep in touch.
And that’s my list for 2011. I’ll mark off each thing as it’s done, and come back to it in 1 year. We’ll see how I do!
